how do i get my movie out there

I?m currently working on my second movie which is a cross between a skating video and a comedy sketch show and because the first movie had such a good response from the people who have seen, I want the second one to be an actual film that people can buy and be distribute to shops etc, but I haven?t got a clue where to start I would be grateful for any help in this matter,

if you really think your vid will be saleable, call up a label/distributor and cut a deal.

'tartan' in the UK tend to publish some very avant-garde work, which I would guess a skating vid might fall into.

but don't be surprised if getting a deal is harder than you think.

although there is this story of a guy making millions from his videos of diggers at building sites, nice!
